Websites I Use A Lot (a work in progress)

Some are motorcycle related, some aren't. I'll give the name, brief description, & url.

EATERIES: Our first up is a place recommended by John R. and Johney H. called "Emma Jean's" in Victorville. This place is purported to have THE BEST biscuits and gravy, and was featured on the Food Network show, "Drive-Ins, Dives & Diners". http://www.hollandburger.com/contact.html

http://www.hellskitchen-ca.com/

Now some ladies' sites I particularly like: http://www.vtwinmama.com/index.htm http://www.ridemyown.com/links/technical.shtml
http://www.ocspiritriders.org/

Next is some cool websites for SHOPPING!!! Leatherup and JCWhitney. I've purchased stuff from both sites, never been disappointed. Be sure to check out the sale/clearance links at both sites-I got some GREAT deals on Xmas gift stuff, helmets, my jacket, etc. http://www.leatherup.com/
http://www.jcwhitney.com/

And just general sites of interest I use all the time:
http://www.sigalert.com/ traffic
http://cad.chp.ca.gov/ (better, more detailed traffic info) www.myspace.com/comedy/daschmink (yes, I'm on MySpace, in the comedy section because I do standup at open mics around N. OC)
http://www.weather.com/ because you never know what kind of riding weather you're going to have, so I use the 36-hour link about 2 days before a ride, then a recheck the night before and that morning. I HATE to be surprised.
http://login.prospero.com/dir-login/index.asp?webtag=Star230&lgnDST=http%3A%2F%2Fforums%2Edelphiforums%2Ecom%2FStar230%2Fstart Here's the STAR 230 forum login webpage.
http://computer.howstuffworks.com/ http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsus/Quakes/quakes_big.php What can I say? I'm big for emergency preparedness.
http://www.mapquest.com/ For figuring out routes for rides.

This site can be helpful at times, at least to get one over from 'the dark side'...or at least to stop and think
http://www.metanoia.org/suicide/
“Suicide is not chosen; it happens when one's pain exceeds one's resources for coping with pain.”
It is simply an imbalance of pain versus coping resources.

to be continued...
